Hello?
Okay ive gathered loads of reference material for the graffiti and enviroments.... and got hold of an old freind who'll be willing to work on graffiti artwork in any specific style were looking for. Sam mentioned keeping the graffiti rather minimal (as opposed to the alleyways COVERED in graf which were all familiar with) Im still struggling for a decent idea for the monster... but i think thatll fall into place when weve all gone over the new storyboards and know whats required of him/her/it
As we discussed the other day an evening/twilight setting would create a great atmoshpere... (our protagonist could have come out of work, had a couple of drinks and is on his way home...)
This will mean soft natural lighting combined with streetlights.... so we can juxtapose a busy well-lit street with a secluded; harshly lit alley. Ive attached the image which inspired this idea, as well as one of the tests ive done of this setup and i think youll agree theyre rather buff =)
